  • Research the current state of the art of vacuum grippers and their controls
  • Evaluate potential products and integration solutions
  • Design the next generation of multi-suction grippers
  • Evaluate concepts
  • Set up test facilities
Must-have Skills
  • Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field from the second semester onwards
  • Conscientious and independent work style combined with a hands-on mentality to master diverse tasks
  • Experience with CAD, ideally SolidWorks
  • Skilled craftsmanship
  • Technical understanding and interest in robotics topics
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Very good communication skills in German or English (ideally in both)
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience with pneumatics and vacuum technology
  • Initial practical experience in robotics and automation
  • Class B driving license
  • CAM knowledge
  • Experience in controlling actuators and sensors with a microcontroller or other embedded systems
