Conducting research of current state of the art Hybrid Grippers
Evaluating various possible engineering solutions
Designing an innovative next generation of hybrid grippers, which involves combining multiple grippers into a single end effector tool
Thoroughly evaluating the proposed design
Building a functional prototype
Performing extensive testing to ensure reliability and efficiency
Must have skills
Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, Mechatronics, Robotics and related studies from second semester onwards
Hands-on experience with CAD
Experience controlling actuators and sensors with a microcontroller or other embedded system of your choice
Excellent organizational skills
Very good communication skills in German or English (optimally in both)
Nice to have skills
Hands-on experience with SolidWorks
Experience with CAM
Experience working with robots and robotic sensors: e.g. force-torque sensors
